Not sure which is worse: Apostrophe abuse or fashion from the '80s being "revived"

Though I guess if they mean the exact year 1980 (which they do not) this would not necessarily be incorrect.... No huge deal either way. But, I do not remember the fashions in the '80s looking like that! I remember bell bottoms and waists up to your arm pits, especially women's jeans. Maybe that was early '80s. I'm old..... Time to put on some Duran Duran... (snapped in Umeda Osaka on iPhone).

The snaps here are from some time I spent at the Himatsuri (fire festival) in Ikoma, Nara. The historic Ikoma Shrine is very near are yet-to-be-completed house in Nara. I'm not sure about the details of this festival yet, but it's got something to do with the fire god and the harvest, etc. The torches you see here are made from bundled rice stalks. Just another nice little festival in Japan.

Nice presentation of "sanma"

Presentation is very important. This is sanma over some rice. Teppanyaki style prepared at your table. Note the colors. Also, you eat it all including skin and the green garnish...

The great thing about traveling in Japan is you don't need to bring a toothbrush

Because all hotels provide this stuff as part of the service experience. Here's a pic of a typical display. In the bathroom of my hotel.
