See you in Milan in Few hours
The place is great! Just spent a short time there as I am sick as a dog. But the show must go on - I WILL be there! Sent from my iPhone

Waiting for a flight to Milan after a 12:05 hour trip here to Paris. It's %€! cold here but looking forward to coming back to Paris next week for real. In this pic, that's our plane from Japan off in the distance.
Sent from my iPhoneI love the snow! The cities will be gorgeous no doubt if it sticks... Though if too much I may be stuck in Europe longer I guess. Anyone up for drinks after the Apple Store preso (Regent street) Dec 2? Sent from my iPhone
Waiting for take off. Really looking forward to seeing Marco in Milan! Looks like it is pretty cold in Italy right now...
Sent from my iPhoneDuring a Skype video chat with Jenny's class in Melbourne a couple of weeks ago, they caught me eating a small bag or Oreos. They said they *had* to send me something better. So let the world know: I'll work for buscuits :-) Never had these before, but I think they are actually popular among many Japanese as well. Will try them tonight! Thanks, guys, for the cookies (buscuits).
Received a box of Naked books today -- The first time I actually held the book in my hand here in Japan. Took this snap moments ago in my office in Osaka.
Nancy (the publisher) and Karyn (the senior editor) pose with the book back in Berkeley, California at Peach Pit Press a few days ago.
The book (by design) is a bit narrower than the first two books. It's really a good size for the coffee shop or airplane, etc. At 208 pages you could probably read the whole thing flying from New york to LA, and certainly from LA to Tokyo. It will be in stores in a few weeks or so, but is available Dec 3 on Amazon. German and Japanese versions (and others) are in the process of completion and will be out early in 2011.
Decorating her first Christmas tree in Japan...
The shops have been going mental decorating for Christmas as long as I have been in Japan (over 20 years), but these days people decorate their homes too. Some people are getting into it as much as Chevy Chase in Christmas Vacation! -- even our neighbors have put lights out in the trees of their front yard. We just put a few strings out in our yard but it creates a nice atmosphere -- now if we can just get some snow...
Now on shorter, faster leg of journey to Osaka. Time for a healthy lunch...
Sent from my iPhoneGoing slowly in the mountains, then picked up the fast rails in Morioka for the ride down to Sendai and Tokyo.
Sent from my iPhoneWe pick up the faster rails later on. Right now it is slower, but very cool going through the north country (usually there might be snow here by now - too warm today).
