Back in Japan. Went to the local Shrine to pray to Ebisu, one of the Seven Gods of Fortune
Great to be back in Japan! The first thing we did is head to the Ikoma Shine, just a few moments walk from our new house in Nara. I love this shrine. This weekend people go to this shrine mainly to pray to Ebisu for good luck in business and labor, etc. While we were there hanging around the fire to get warm, one of the shrine staff notice my wife was pregnant and then took us over to another area to pray to "Anzan" for good, healthy delivery of the baby. It was quite cold so we took a break and had some hot udon noodles prepared by the shrine volunteers.
