Two and a half years ago I pointed to this home-made video by Australia's Sick Puppies that was getting a lot of play on YouTube. It's quite a cool story and nice video. Good example of the power of a simple, sincere idea, some video footage, and some music combined in away that tells a memorable story. Last summer I got to spend some time in Sydney, actually right near the spot where much of the video was taped. Sydney is absolutely one of the best cities I've ever been to; truly a remarkable, special city. Watch the video below. Hope it brings a smile to your face.

 
And here is an Australian TV news story about the video from just after it started to take off over two years ago. Since then another 38 million or so have watched the video (almost 2x the population of Australia). I hope another 38 million people see the Free Hugs video.
