Outside the Billboard. Anticipation builds....

The 7 member band was great (including two original Beach Boys; I think Love must have a license to use the "The Beach Boys" name for these tours). Really liked the drummer. On the left is Mike Love (and that's his son Christian Love next to him I think). Bruce Johnston is on keyboard/vocal on the right out of frame. They were really fantastic!

Above is a short clip from the iPhone. Mike love asked us to get out our cell phones to use as lighters as we swayed to the music. So, why not record a few moments of the show since all the cell phones are out? The iPhone mic is pretty bad indeed (doesn't take much to distort the input, but the music was pretty loud for the poor 'ol iPhone). The iPhone does not do it justice -- it sounded great live.

Hanging out with friends from the expat biz community after the show. Seriously, this show was much more fun that I expected. The audience really ate it up. Loads of fun.
