Does absolutely everyone like party in Japan? Or are there folks who enjoy quiet dinners with co-workers? Based on all the gaijin-blogs I follow online, us non-drinking fans of calm meals and conversation are going to have a hard time finding something to do in the evenings since everyone out tossing back sake and and biru. I'm guessing this is just an unfair stereotype on my part, but I don't see much evidence of that.

Yes, this seems like the same type of harmonious fun one finds in musical theater productions. And yet, we do so ache for such a "perfect" moment. :-)
